"My daughter
had her purse stolen. We had reason to believe that an
identity thief was using information taken from her

"I am a recent
survivor of identity theft. I consider myself a survivor
and not a victim because of the help I received from ID
Theft Assist. When I first realized that my identity had
been stolen, I didn't know what to do.
When I first called ID Theft Assist, the representative
walked me through the procedures for resolving
identity-theft disputes. We reviewed my credit report
line-by-line and came up with a game plan to move

where to call but placed calls and wrote letters on my
